If your radio is locked after a battery change in your Volvo (S40, S60, V40, XC90, or Truck series), you are in the right place.
However, multiple radio brands are used in Volvo vehicles. Our system can **ONLY** decode **Delphi** brand radios with serial numbers starting with **89**.
After checking your serial number, if it is compatible, you can use our Online Volvo Radio Code Finder Service at the bottom of the page.
Which Models Can We NOT Decode? (Please Read)
Our system **NEVER SUPPORTS** the serial numbers listed below. Please do not attempt to use the tool or contact us for these models, as the solution is not in our database:
- ❌ Starting with V0… or V1…
- ❌ HU-xxx model radios.
- ❌ Alpine/Mitsubishi models starting with 306… or 406…
You need to contact an authorized service center for these models.
✅ The ONLY Supported Model: Delphi Series
Our lookup tool only decodes radios meeting the following criteria:
- ✅ Serial number must start with “89”.
- ✅ Must be exactly 16 characters long.
- ✅ Usually found in Volvo Trucks (FH/FM) and some S40/S60 models.
Where is the Serial Number Located?
You need to remove the radio from its slot to see the serial number. It is written on the white label on the metal chassis under the barcode.
