1. Find Serial Number Without Removal (Easiest Method)

When your radio is locked, you need the device’s identity number (Serial No / Pre-Code) to calculate the unlock code. On most models, you can see this on the screen without removing the radio.

Pre-Code Retrieval via Key Combination:

• Turn on the ignition and wait for the radio display.
• Press and hold buttons 1 and 6 SIMULTANEOUSLY for 3-5 seconds.
• If a code consisting of one letter and three digits (e.g., W921, G503, etc.) appears on the screen, this is your Pre-Code. Note it down and enter it into the generator below.
• Note: If buttons 1 and 6 do not work, try pressing 1 and 5.

2. Find Serial Number on Label (Removal Process)
