Do you see a “CODE”, “LOCKED”, or “Security” warning on your Peugeot (206, 207, 301, 307, Partner, Bipper, Boxer, etc.) after a battery change or removing the radio? This indicates that your radio has entered anti-theft security mode. To get your music back, you need your 4-digit radio password.
In this guide, we will explain how to access radio codes for Philips, Clarion, Blaupunkt, Daiichi, Siemens VDO, and Continental brand radios used in Peugeot models, with algorithms suitable for your code structure (Visual Basic).
If you already know your serial number, you can learn your code in seconds by using our Online Radio Code Finder Service at the bottom of the page.
Important Step: How to Find the Radio Serial Number?
To calculate the Peugeot radio code, we need your radio’s identification number (Serial No).
Most Accurate Method: Removing the Radio
- In most Peugeot models, the serial number is written on the label on the side or top metal casing of the radio.
- To remove the radio, simply insert the “U” shaped radio removal tool (or wire/Allen key of appropriate thickness) into the 2 or 4 holes on the front panel and pull it towards you.
- Note down the code written under Barcode or under the Serial No heading on the label.
Once you have learned your serial number, you can use the calculation tool below.
Supported Peugeot Radio Models
Our online query tool below supports the following brands and serial number formats used in Peugeot vehicles:
Philips (22DC Series) | Clarion (PU Series) | Blaupunkt | Daiichi | Continental | Siemens VDO
1. Peugeot Philips Series (Starting with T0…) and Clarion Series (Starting with C7…)
Philips Series: These are old-generation but very common radios usually found in Peugeot 206 and Partner models. The number located under the barcode on the label starts with ‘T0’ and continues for 4 to 6 characters.
How to Enter? You must enter all characters you see in the serial number (e.g., if the label says T0S123, enter the full serial number T0S123 into the box and query).
Clarion Series: These are Clarion (PU series) radios used in Peugeot 206, 307, and some commercial models. There is a long 12-digit number starting with ‘C7’ under the barcode on the label.
Format: It is in the form of C7000000XXXX. You must enter all 12 digits completely, including C7, into the query tool.

Peugeot Radio Code Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
In Peugeot radios, the system temporarily locks itself after incorrect code entries. In this case, you need to wait with the radio on (ignition half open or engine running). The waiting time increases exponentially with each incorrect entry (15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, etc.). When the display returns to password request mode, you can enter the correct code.
When you remove the radio from its slot, the brand is written at the top of the label. If the brand is worn off, check the serial number format:
- If it starts with T0…, it is Philips,
- If it starts with C7…, it is Clarion,
- If it starts with 815, BP…, it is Blaupunkt production.
- If it starts with A2C, A3C…, it is Continental production.
The radio code query tool on our site works only with the radio serial number. Finding the code from the chassis number can only be done at authorized Peugeot service centers.
